Hey Everyone!! I got new glasses, which I find really spiffy.

I'm too lazy to put contacts in everyday so I've been relying on my glasses alot. I got them a few years ago, but I've been wearing them more and more regularly since 8th grade. My perscriptions changed and I was able to get new frames as well. How do you like um?!

They're actually brown, but they appear kinda red due to my shirt.

P.S. I'm not really emo.

I was out at Kickapoo with Rachel to take a few pictures and I found this awesome shot. There was a really narrow path covered in shadows and then towards the end of it the sun showed down pretty srongly. It reminded me about the narrow path to righteousness and how temptation lies so closely to it. So here is one of those pics and some bible verses to go with it:

Psalm 119:105, "Your word is a lamp to my feet and a light for my path."

Proverbs 4:18, "The path of the righteous is like the first gleam of dawn, shining ever brighter till the full light of day."

Luke 1:78-79, "because of the tender mercy of our God, by which the rising sun will come to us from heaven to shine on those living in darkness and in the shadow of death, to guide our feet into the path of peace."

Matthew 7:14, "But small is the gate and narrow the road that leads to life, and only a few find it."

My New Room

My mom and I have been working on redoing my room and we finally put it all together last week. It's got a completely new look, and I like it alot. It shows my personality better and opens up more space. Here's some pics of Before and After.

"Coke efferfescence with coffee essence"

So, we finally found some Coke Blak in Lincoln! At first while you drink it, it tastes like normal regular Coca Cola, but when the after taste kicks in, "BAM!" theres the coffee fusion. I like it myself, I've gotten mixed reactions from different people though. I challenge you all to find some and try it!

(I was counting down to the day it was available in the States!)

Superchic[k] Concert

Originally uploaded by flamingox.
Not yesterday, but last Wed. a group of us drove up to Lombard (near Chicago) for a Superchic[k] concert. They're one of my favorite groups and I had never seen them in concert before. Brent, Ethan, Kallie, Rob W, and I all went up. We got to the highschool a couple hours early so we got really nice seats; 2nd Row from Front Center. Although, the seats didn't really matter because we moved up and stood right in front of the stage giving us some great picture shots. It was a great trip, great food, and a great concert. I can't wait to see them live again.

Me again...

Just thought I'd post something since I haven't in like forever, and Ethan keeps sending these emails saying "you should post something" so here it is. God is awesome, and I am so glad He loves me. Life is somewhat crazy at times with Him in charge, but it's always good in the end! Your thoughts??

Winter Jam '06

Toby MAC!

Last Weekend was a ton of fun. Jeffersons St. Christian Church took a bus load of kids out to Normal, IL for the big Winter Jam concert this year. It was a great crowd, and amazing artists. Newsong, Hawk Nelson, Krystal Meyers, Zoe Girl, Toby Mac, and Newsboys were all present. Toby Mac was my personal favorite, but Newsboys also put on a really great show. The only downfall was they started the show early and we missed out on Hawk Nelson, also they set up chairs (probably for fire code) which kinda "threw off my groove."

Largest Bird??

The other day at breakfast my family was disgusing birds. When the eldest started talking about the largest bird, the Condor. BK said, "I thought the largest bird was an ostrich". NK said, "No dad, I am talking about the largest flying bird". BK and I are not so sure that the Condor is the largest flying bird, so we asked him how he knows. NK said, "I saw it on Go Diego, Go!", Diego and Dora sat on the Condor's back to fly and go rescue baby Jaguar." You know a bird that can hold two people on it's back has to be the biggest.
